Parent Expectations:
- Make sure your student is academically honest. Many students are using a phone application called Photo Math or some variation of it. They take a picture of a math problem and the application solves the math problem for them and even gives them the work. This is a common cheating practice amongst students. While it is hard to prove they used it on homework, I will know and will inform you because your student will not be able to perform the same functions on a test without the use of technology.
- Expect your student to have homework every day, including weekends.
- Homework will consist of Notes Review, Math Worksheets, Projects, Presentations, and Digital Work on ALEKS MATH.
- ALEKS MATH
- ALEKS MATH is a Special Program that measures your student’s individual math abilities and designs a program for your student to improve his or her math skills.
- ALEKS MATH work is supplementary to homework already assigned in class.
